Advancement Project
Advancement Project is a next generation, multi-racial civil rights organization. Rooted in the great human rights struggles for equality and justice, they exist to fulfill America’s promise of an inclusive and just democracy. AP uses innovative tools and strategies to strengthen social movements and achieve high impact policy change.
THE GOAL
To revise AP’s robust 21-page PDF on gender justice and the criminal legal system. The aim was to effectively communicate the density of the material in a visually organized layout.
THE PROCESS
I collaborated with the former deputy director and senior staff attorney on strategic positioning. I designed the digital syllabus with embedded hyperlinks to the vast multimedia resources for high-functioning purpose.
THE OUTCOME
A compact, dynamic syllabus categorized into 6 parts. A cohesive internal and external asset that is visually appealing, functional, and scholarly for a wide audience.
